Privacy Policy.
What P2SV Collects, and Why.
P2SV collects little: what visitors choose to send, and cookieless analytics on how the site is read. It does not sell personal information. Effective October 6, 2026.
01Who This Covers
This policy covers pushtostart.ventures, the website of Push to Start Ventures LLC (“P2SV”), a venture studio in Los Angeles, California. It explains what P2SV collects when someone visits the site, sends a message through it or writes to P2SV by email, and what P2SV does with it. Questions go to brett@pushtostart.ventures.
02What P2SV Collects
- Information a visitor sends. The contact forms on the home page and the Med Spa Market Brief ask for a name, an email address, a role and an optional message. Emails sent to P2SV include whatever the sender chooses to write.
- Usage information. Pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, the referring site, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Server logs. The hosting provider records IP addresses and requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
P2SV does not ask for health information, payment details or government identifiers through the site, and asks visitors not to send them.
03Analytics and Cookies
The site uses PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand which pages are read and how visitors move through them. It runs in PostHog’s cookieless mode: nothing is stored on the visitor’s device. To count unique visitors, PostHog calculates a privacy-preserving one-way hash on its own servers instead of storing an identifier in the browser. No profile is built for any visitor. The data is processed on PostHog’s US servers.
The site sets no cookies of its own, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
04How It Is Used
- To reply to messages and follow up on introductions.
- To understand how the site and its reports are used, and improve them.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
P2SV does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not add visitors to a mailing list without asking.
05Service Providers
P2SV relies on a small number of providers that process information on its behalf and under their own privacy terms:
- Netlify · hosting and delivery of the site.
- PostHog · site analytics.
- Formspree · delivery of contact form submissions by email.
- P2SV’s email provider, for messages sent to P2SV directly.
P2SV may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of its business.
06Retention
Messages and form submissions are kept for as long as the conversation they belong to is active, and then for a reasonable period for record-keeping. Analytics data is kept for as long as it is useful for understanding site use. A visitor can ask for their information to be deleted at any time.
07Choices and Rights
Anyone can ask P2SV what personal information it holds about them, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or ask that it stop being used for analytics, by writing to brett@pushtostart.ventures. Depending on where a visitor lives, including California and the European Economic Area, they may have further rights under local law; P2SV will honour those requests where they apply. P2SV will not treat anyone differently for making one.
08Security and Children
The site is served over HTTPS and P2SV limits who can see the information it receives. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
The site is meant for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. P2SV does not knowingly collect their information.
